Build Your Personal Global Market Dashboard

Financial markets across different regions are closely connected. Movements in U.S. index futures, Asian markets, crude oil, gold or the U.S. dollar can influence market sentiment in India and elsewhere.

This dashboard helps you follow the instruments that matter to you in one place. Choose from global stock indices, index futures, Indian benchmarks, Indian ADRs, commodities, MCX contracts, forex pairs and major cryptocurrencies. Prices update automatically after the page loads, subject to market hours and data availability.

How to Customise Your Dashboard

1. Open the instrument dropdown

Click Select Indices at the top of the dashboard. The dropdown displays the available instruments, organised by market category.

2. Add or remove instruments

Select the instruments you want to monitor. Remove the selection from any instrument you no longer need. Your dashboard updates automatically, so you can focus on a compact set of relevant markets or build a broader global view.

3. Rearrange cards with drag and drop

On a desktop, click and hold the drag handle on a market card, move it to your preferred position and release it. This lets you place your most important instruments—such as GIFT Nifty, Dow Futures, USD/INR, Gold or Brent Crude—at the top.

4. Review different timeframes

Use the 1D, 1W and 1M options on each card to review short-term price movement across one day, one week or one month.

5. Return to the original layout

Click Reset whenever you want to restore the default selection and card arrangement.

Your chosen instruments and their order are saved on the device and browser you are using. If you clear your browser data, change browsers or use another device, you may need to customise the dashboard again.

What Each Market Card Shows

Every selected instrument is presented in a simple market card containing:

  • Instrument name and market region
  • Current or last available price
  • Price and percentage change
  • Market status, such as open or closed
  • Latest available update time
  • Currency in which the instrument is quoted
  • Short-term 1-day, 1-week and 1-month views

Green generally represents a positive change, while red represents a negative change compared with the previous available close. An open or closed label refers to the relevant market session and does not necessarily indicate whether another related futures market is trading.

Markets and Instruments Available

U.S. Stock Market Indices

Follow the major benchmarks used to assess the overall direction of the U.S. equity market: Dow Jones Industrial Average, S&P 500, Nasdaq Composite and Russell 2000.

The S&P 500 provides broad exposure to large U.S. companies, while the Nasdaq Composite has a relatively high concentration of technology and growth-oriented businesses. The Russell 2000 is commonly followed as an indicator of smaller U.S. companies.

Asia-Pacific Stock Market Indices

Monitor important benchmarks from the major Asia-Pacific economies: Nikkei 225, Hang Seng, Shanghai Composite, KOSPI, TAIEX, ASX 200 and Straits Times Index.

These indices provide a quick view of market conditions across Japan, Hong Kong, mainland China, South Korea, Taiwan, Australia and Singapore.

European Stock Market Indices

Track leading UK, Eurozone and other European equity benchmarks: FTSE 100, DAX, CAC 40, Euro Stoxx 50, SMI, IBEX 35, FTSE MIB, AEX and OMX Stockholm 30.

Together, these indices cover major listed companies across the United Kingdom, Germany, France, the Eurozone, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands and Sweden.

Global Stock Market Index Futures

Follow index futures that can provide an early indication of market sentiment before or outside the regular cash-market session: Dow Futures, S&P 500 Futures, Nasdaq Futures, Russell Futures, Nikkei Futures, Hang Seng Futures, FTSE 100 Futures, DAX Futures, Euro Stoxx 50 Futures, CAC 40 Futures, China A50 Futures and the U.S. Dollar Index.

Futures can trade for longer hours than their underlying stock markets. However, their direction does not guarantee where the cash index will open or close.

Indian Stock Market Indices

Follow the principal benchmarks and sector indicators of the Indian equity market: GIFT Nifty Futures, Nifty 50, Sensex, Bank Nifty, Nifty IT, Nifty Auto, Nifty Pharma and India VIX.

GIFT Nifty is often monitored before the Indian market opens, while India VIX reflects the market’s expectation of near-term volatility. It should not be treated as a direct forecast of market direction.

Indian Company ADRs

Monitor American Depositary Receipts of major Indian companies traded in the United States: Infosys, Sify Technologies, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Wipro and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories.

ADRs can help users observe how selected Indian businesses trade during U.S. market hours. An ADR price should not be directly compared with the company’s Indian share price without considering the depositary ratio, currency conversion and market-specific factors.

International Commodities

Track globally followed commodity futures and precious-metal rates: Gold, XAU/USD, Silver, WTI Crude Oil, Brent Crude, Natural Gas, Copper and Platinum.

These instruments can offer useful context on inflation expectations, industrial demand, energy costs, currency movements and global risk sentiment. International commodity contracts are generally displayed in U.S. dollars and may use different units of measurement.

MCX Commodity Futures

Follow front-month commodity futures traded on India’s Multi Commodity Exchange: MCX Gold, Mini Gold, Silver, Mini Silver, Crude Oil, Natural Gas, Copper, Aluminium, Zinc, Lead and Nickel.

MCX prices are displayed in Indian rupees. The active contract month may change as the current contract approaches expiry, so users should check the contract details before comparing prices across different dates.

Forex Rates

Monitor major Indian rupee and international currency pairs: USD/INR, EUR/INR, GBP/INR, JPY/INR, EUR/USD and GBP/USD.

In a currency pair, the displayed value represents the amount of the second currency required to purchase one unit of the first. For example, USD/INR shows the approximate number of Indian rupees required for one U.S. dollar.

Cryptocurrencies

Follow major digital assets by market capitalisation and market activity: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tether, BNB and Solana.

Cryptocurrency markets generally operate around the clock and can experience substantial price movements. Their trading hours and risk profile differ considerably from regulated stock and commodity markets.

Ways to Use This Dashboard

You can arrange the dashboard according to your purpose:

  • Before the Indian market opens: GIFT Nifty, Dow Futures, Nasdaq Futures, Nikkei 225, Hang Seng, USD/INR, Brent Crude and Gold.
  • For global risk monitoring: S&P 500 Futures, Dollar Index, Gold, WTI Crude, Bitcoin and India VIX.
  • For an India-focused view: Nifty 50, Sensex, Bank Nifty, India VIX, GIFT Nifty and major Indian ADRs.
  • For commodity tracking: Gold, Silver, WTI, Brent, Natural Gas, Copper and their relevant MCX contracts.
  • For regional comparison: Select leading indices from the United States, Europe, Asia and India and place them next to one another.

Understanding Price Updates

Market prices may come from different exchanges and data providers. Update frequency can vary according to the instrument, trading session, exchange holidays and data availability. When a market is closed, the dashboard may show the most recently available traded price.
